Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) is organising the 2nd edition of Sharjah International Youth Basketball Tournament in Khorfakkan, from 27th to 30th December, in cooperation with Jam Sports Academy.

23 teams will compete in the tournament, representing seven countries including the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, India, Serbia, and Spain

Issa Hilal Al Hazami indicated that hosting the tournament is part of the Council’s agenda that aims to organize local and international tournaments for different age groups in Sharjah, translating the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and, Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Women’s Sports.

Al Hazami added that the second edition of the tournament will be held in Khorfakkan, to highlight the logistical capabilities of Sharjah’s cities. He showed his gratitude to the authorities and institutions cooperating in organising the tournament.
