Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club (SSDSC) discussed, during its meeting, on Sunday, at its headquarters, headed by His Excellency Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Owais, the requirements for implementing the technical plan for the development of Taekwondo sport in the club and ways to prepare for the next season in accordance with the directives of the Sharjah Sports Council.

His Excellency Al Owais stated that in conjunction with the Emirati-South Korean twinning in various aspects and the great development of Taekwondo in South Korea, the meeting discussed ways to develop the game.

His Excellency expressed his aspiration, through this cooperation, to benefit from the distinguished experiences in creating new opportunities in developing the practice of Taekwondo in the club and to discover players who are able to excel.

For his part, Tariq Jumaa Al Suwaidi, Member of the club’s Board of Directors and sSupervisor of Taekwondo Sport, maintained that the club is looking forward to making an added qualitative leap in all its sports, helped by the talented players the club enjoys in Taekwondo.
