SSC to participate in the Sharjah Events Festival

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) is participating in the Sharjah Events Festival, which will launch its first edition on December 10 and 11, at Al Majaz Amphitheatre under the slogan “See Sharjah”.
Organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau with the participation of more than 25 public and private entities in the emirate, the festival will showcase shows, arts, cultural and entertainment competitions, some of which will be accompanied by raffles for valuable prizes. The festival will also announce the agenda of activities and events that the emirate will witness in 2022.

On the occasion of the launch of the first edition, Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, said  that the council is keen to support this festival, which launches its first edition in a demonstration that devotes all meanings of optimism to the future, especially since the present is full of all meanings of growth, development and prosperity thanks to the support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.

He highlighted the great importance of sports as a cultural and societal message that is no less influential and rewarding than any other activity. 

He concluded expressing the SSC’s great honour to be among the participants in this festival, which will add a new episode in the series of distinguished events and initiatives launched by the Emirate, inviting all participating institutions and bodies to provide the best and to cooperate with others to enrich the event and achieve the highest rates of success for the festival, calling on all segments of the society to attend and enjoy the festival’s activities.
