Sharjah 24: In a momentous occasion, the Mleiha Sports Club has clinched the prestigious title of the "Excellence Shield" in the ninth iteration of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) Race for Culture. This outstanding feat stands as further testament to the consistent excellence and athletic prowess that the Emirate of Sharjah is renowned for.

The Mleiha Sports Club set itself apart with an exceptional performance over the course of the multi-month competition. They engaged in a diverse array of sporting and cultural activities and notably secured first place in numerous categories and games.

At a ceremony attended by His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, the Excellence Shield was received on behalf of the club and its dedicated members. 

The honour was presented by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Department of Statistics and Community Development. In addition, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, was present to confer this prestigious recognition. This victory firmly cements Mleiha's position as one of the foremost sports clubs in the Emirate.

Al Khasouni extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Mleiha Club community for this remarkable achievement, expressing his belief in the club's continued success in the future. He emphasised the club's enduring role as a beacon of inspiration in sports and culture.
