Sharjah 24: The Mleiha Sports Club showcased an impressive performance in the preliminary championship for Sharjah-based sports clubs in swimming, an event organised by the Sharjah Sports Council.

During this competition, several promising local athletes from the club achieved outstanding results, securing a significant haul of medals.

The exciting championship witnessed remarkable displays from numerous Mleiha Sports Club players, resulting in the acquisition of thirteen colorful medals. Among the notable achievements, swimmer Hamid Saeed Mohammed Al Khosoni earned both a gold and a bronze medal. Meanwhile, Al Khosoni Mohammed Harib Al Khosoni clinched two silver medals, and swimmer Salem Tameem Khosoni secured a silver and a bronze.

These accomplishments represent a valuable contribution to the sport of swimming in the Emirate of Sharjah, highlighting the Mleiha Sports Club as a prominent force in this particular discipline.

Hamad Tameem Al Katbi, a Mleiha Club board member and the chairman of the individual sports committee, expressed his delight at this achievement, emphasising that these exceptional outcomes underscore the club's excellence and distinction in the field of swimming through the training of local talent. He also expressed the club's pride in the dedication and determination of these athletes to achieve success.

Furthermore, he stated that the club will continue to provide support and encouragement to these athletes as they pursue further accomplishments in the future.
