Sharjah 24: As part of a ground-breaking sports undertaking to back up its sports sustainability goals, Mleiha Club has supplied Mleiha Park with a variety of sports equipment. Mleiha Municipality and its Council have come together to launch this initiative.

The initiative is in harmony with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who places great emphasis on the role of sports in enhancing community health and fitness.

Several dignitaries and club members, including the Director of Mleiha Municipality and the Director of Mleiha Municipality's Support Services Department, as well as the Chairman of Mleiha Club for Culture and Sports, launched the initiative. The participants had a tour of the park, where they examined the new sports equipment.

The Chairman of Mleiha Club, Mohammed Sultan Al Khisooni, spoke highly of the initiative's positive impact in bolstering the club's commitment to sports sustainability by providing appropriate outdoor environments for sports and physical activities, thereby promoting overall fitness and public health.

Director of Mleiha Municipality Mubarak Saif Awad Al Ketbi expressed his delight at the partnership between his organisation and Mleiha Club for this innovative sports initiative.
