Sharjah24: Khalifa Sultan Saif Al Jari Al Ketbi, member of the Sharjah Sports Council, revealed that 400 members participated in the eighth edition of “Sharjah Sports Council Run” event, which is being held for the first time at the Sharjah Safari in Al Dhaid, with the aim of spreading the culture of sports in the society .

Al Ketbi stated that the “Sharjah Sports Council” running event received a great turnout from the public who came to compete and participate in this enthusiastic atmosphere, which is being organized for the eighth time, and is being held for the first time in the Sharjah Safari, which is the largest safari in the world outside Africa.

Al Ketbi added in statements to Sharjah 24 that the race categories were divided into several distances according to age groups, including a 10 km distance, a 5 km distance for male and female citizens, the open category for men and women, a 2.5 km distance, and an 800 meter distance for juniors.
