The ceremony was attended by Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of SSC; His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah bin Yaarouf Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Dibba Al Hisn; His Excellency Obaid Khalfan Al Ghoul Al Salami; heads and members of previous boards of directors; and a number of heads and directors of departments and institutions in Sharjah government.
The ceremony began with the UAE national anthem, after which the audience watched a video on the visions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in serving the generations under the title “My Children and I Protect Them.” The video included the intervention of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi in the “Direct Line” programme, talking about citizens’ activities in clubs to use their skills and abilities that benefit them.
H.E. Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Al Mutawa Al Hindassi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, extended his thanks to His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for the precious trust he placed in the members of the current council. He also touched on the permanent support of the Sharjah Sports Council for all the club’s events and activities.
Al Mutawa concluded his speech by thanking the former club presidents for their endless efforts during the past years.
His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami honoured the former club presidents and the former chairman and members of the Board of Directors.
At the end of the honouring ceremony, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami opened the plaque of honour to the presidents as an expression of loyalty for their efforts in serving Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club over the past years.
