SEWA reviews its strategy to support and empower women

Sharjah24: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) reviewed, during the third Forum for Women in Scientific Research, organised by the University of Sharjah, coinciding with Emirati Women's Day, and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, a number of topics of its strategy towards supporting and appreciating the role of Emirati women.
Engineer Mayada Al-Bardan, Director of the Research and Studies Department at SEWA, began, during her speech during the forum’s activities, by congratulating each woman on the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day, whose achievements we are proud of.

The Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority has a group of active female employees who aspire to the future with strength, determination, will and ambition to achieve aspirations and achieve goals and have achieved great achievements and have clear fingerprints in every corner of the authority. 31 female employees have obtained master’s and doctoral degrees, and more than 36 female employees are still in the stage of master’s and doctoral studies. The authority has established a special department for research and studies, in which the female component constitutes 70% of the workforce.
