Sharjah 24: Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, issued the following statement on the occasion of the UAE Armed Forces' 48th anniversary of unification:

"Every year, on this day, our nation commemorates the unification of the UAE armed forces. Solidarity, safeguarding unity, and strengthening security and stability were the cornerstones of our nation's establishment, and this precious anniversary stands as a brilliant example of that. This has allowed the country to achieve its objectives and numerous tasks that everyone recognises, as well as allowing the citizens of the union to live in safety, security, and prosperity.”

"The armed forces have been striving since the United Arab Emirates' unification 48 years ago," according to Sharjah Crown Prince, "to spread stability and security, promote love for one's country and its people, and keep peace in all of the country's emirates. All emirates have faithful and loyal citizens who serve in every region and do their best to keep the nation secure. The astute leadership has pledged to back them wholeheartedly so that they may get the best possible qualifications and resources."
