Sharjah 24: "Our country continues to prosper with goodness, stability, security, and safety," stated Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the unification of the UAE Armed Forces.

“Our nation's Armed Forces have always been there, ready to defend our precious land, our people, and our nation's progress. They are an effective representation of unity and the values that our leadership and faithful citizens uphold, enabling us to keep developing and progressing sustainably while also standing strong in defence of our land and dignity."

He continued: "The announcement of the unification of the Armed Forces on May 6, 1976, marked a pivotal turning point in the history of the UAE, serving as the beginning of blessings and prosperity for the entire nation and its people. With unwavering belief in the principles of unity and readiness, the Armed Forces have tirelessly worked in all areas of sacrifice and devotion, continuing to lead the march towards progress, development, and prosperity. They have offered what is precious and valuable for the protection of the homeland on all fronts and domains."
