Sharjah 24: As part of its efforts to achieve health and sports safety, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club organised a workshop on first aid aimed at providing the participants in the club's summer camp with skills in public safety and first aid.

Dr. Fouad Al Salihi of the Ministry of Health dealt with how to deal with injury when it occurs and immediate treatments, focusing on the importance of knowing the basic principles of first aid.

The workshop also trained participants on dealing with wounds and first aid in playgrounds, which would save the life of the injured. 

It also clarified how to deal with cases of bleeding, suffocation and nosebleeds, in addition to how to first aid the injured when they lose consciousness until the arrival of the specialised medical staff.
