Sharjah 24: Within the framework of its activities for summer 2022, Mleiha Club achieved great success in participants turnout in its activities that coincided with the National Identity Week and included four various heritage workshops besides a lecture on national identity.

Workshops have met participants’ inclinations and desires to learn the ancient Emirati crafts, in addition to gaining the necessary experiences about customs and traditions, which strengthened their love for the UAE and their eagerness to live the values of the past and its renewed spirit. Participants also showed grave desire in the holy Quran memorisation course organized as part of the activities.

The week included offering courses in memorising and reciting the Noble Qur’an for all participants during their stay in the club.
 
Abdullah Balajid Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Cultural Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Club and Chairman of the Organising Committee for Summer Activities, stressed the importance of the National Identity Week, which was organised as a translation of the plan of the Sharjah Sports Council to enhance the participants’ benefit and advance their skills in all fields, especially those related to the homeland. He added that this week is among the most successful weeks of the club’s activities.
