Sharjah 24: As part of its joint activities for the Sharjah Sports Summer “Our Holiday is Different”, the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club organised the cultural competition for the Emirate's clubs, on Sunday, under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council.

The participants competed in general information about the UAE, showing great enthusiasm in the competition, which came within the various packages of the major event that started on July 17 and will be ending on August 11.

The events of the competition were attended by Yasser Omar Al Doukhi, Director of Sports and Community Events Department, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Summer Committee and General Supervisor of the programme, Hadi Muhair Al Ketbi, Board Member of Mleiha Club, Sultan Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Cultural Committee of Sharjah Sports Club, Ahmed Ali Al Salman, Chairman of the Supervision and Follow-up Committee of the Sharjah Summer Programme, and Mohamed Mahmoud Shalash, Member of the Committee.

Eight clubs participated in the competition, namely Sharjah, Mleiha, Al Madame, Al Bataeh, Al Dhaid, Ittihad Kalba, Khorfakkan and Dibba Al Hisn. 

Dibba Al Hisn Club won first place, Al Madam Club second place and Al Dhaid Club third place, where Yasser Omar Al Doukhi accompanied by Hadi Muhair Al Ketbi was crowned and honoured the winners.
