Sharjah24: Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, met on Tuesday , at the Ruler's Office, with a delegation of the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club (SSDSC) .

At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem congratulated the club’s board of directors and its players for the club’s achievements, represented in winning many titles, including the President’s Cup for Jiu-Jitsu U-16 for boys, the President’s Cup for Jiu-Jitsu under 18 for girls, and the Vice President’s Cup for Jiu-Jitsu U-16 for boys and the first place shield in the Abu Dhabi International Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship - Dubai Tour. 
The Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, praised the distinguished and rising level of the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club members and their strong participation in various competitions.

In turn, the delegation of the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club extended their deep thanks and  appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his constant sponsorship and continuous support for all clubs and sports activities in the emirate.
The delegation also thanked Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi for his reception and continuous support for the club’s activities, which culminated in recording achievements added to the club’s history, highlighting the continuous keenness to achieve more titles in the upcoming competitions.

The delegation reviewed a number of achievements of the self-defense sports, and plans for development and expansion in the emirate in order to attract more players and motivate them to excel in this field.
