SSDSC dedicates achievements to Sharjah leaders

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club (SSDSC) succeeded in achieving spectacular results during its participation in the in Jiu-Jitsu President's Cup, organised by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation in Ramadan.
The tournament was recently concluded by achieving five advanced places from first to third, most notably winning the President’s Cup for under-18 championship for girls, runner-up in the under-16 championships for junior men and under 16 years for junior women, and came third in the under-18 championships for youth and under-21 for women.

The Board of Directors of the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club dedicated the achievements to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for The unlimited and generous support that paved the way for the Club’s qualitative shift in all sports of self-defense and jiu-jitsu in particular. Also, The Board expressed their gratitude to Sharjah Sports Council for their strategy in scouting talented players and building tough teams capable of competing and achieving championships.

The Club’s management celebrated with the winning teams in the presence of Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Owais, The Club’s Chairman, along with other officials, athletes, and parents.

Al Owais congratulated all the winning teams and players, wishing them future achievements worthy of the Club's reputation in accordance with the directives of the Sharjah Sports Council, which contributed to various achievements. In addition, he thanked the Federation for its efforts in organising the President's Cup, wishing them more success in the future.
