Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council is participating in the first edition of the Padel Tennis Championship for Sharjah government employees, which is organised by the Sharjah Events website of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, on the Padel Point stadiums from April 18 to 22, it targets the participation of employees of both sexes.

Where participation will be open to various government agencies and institutions in the emirate to provide the opportunity to interact with the first version, provided that each team participates in each match with players according to the law of the game, while each team is allowed to register 6 male and female players in its own list, so that the matches will be played in a qualifier manner leading to the final match.

Saeed Ali Al-Ajli, in charge of the duties of the Acting Secretary-General, stated that the participation of a team of the Council’s employees in this tournament represents an interaction with this sports initiative and support for the Padel tennis sport, which finds great demand for various groups of society, and whose practice achieves great health benefits, especially during the holy month, praising Employees interact with the initiative and encourage them to start training, play matches with other teams, and get the first advanced positions.
