Sharjah24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, inaugurated three new outdoor padel tennis courts this evening, Wednesday, as a new addition to the diverse sports activities that allow police cadres members and their families to practice sports and hone their skills in a competitive and positive environment that improves their quality of life.

Major General Al Shamsi emphasized the Sharjah Police General Command's efforts to diversify its sporting activities and events, emphasizing the importance of staying up to date with developments and seeking out the best organizational tools and international sports practices, particularly given the padel tennis sport's recent surge in global popularity and interest.

The inauguration was preceded by the start of the second edition of the "Padel Tennis 2022" event, which was hosted by the Sports and Social Activities Department at the Police Officers Club and included 78 players representing 39 teams.
