Eastern Region Police hosts Parents and Partners Forum

Sharjah 24: On Wednesday, the Eastern Region Police Department hosted the fourth edition of the "Parents and Partners Forum" at the Oceanic Hotel in Khorfakkan City, with Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, as the patron.
Dr Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Khorfakkan Municipal Council; Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau; Brigadier General Ahmed Haji Al Serkal, Director General of Police Operations at Sharjah Police; Colonel Dr. Ali Al Kai Al Hamoudi, Director of the Eastern Region Police Department at Sharjah Police; Colonel Rashid Al Zaabi, his deputy, along with several police leaders, government officials, and Colonel Dr Ali Al Kai noted that the meeting aims to recognise successful partners from institutions and people in the previous year of 2023, as well as debate many critical security and social issues.

Among the discussion topics at the forum was a presentation by Brigadier Ahmed Haji Al Sarkal, Director General of Police Operations at Sharjah Police Headquarters, regarding the humanitarian initiatives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and their role in enhancing family cohesion and community security.

olonel Dr Ali Al Kai told Sharjah 24 that the forum's activities included a speech in which he reviewed the Eastern Region Police Department's security initiatives and achievements over the previous year, as well as strategic challenges and proactive police services at the 7-star level.

Dr Abdullah Suleiman Al Kabouri, Director of the District and Village Councils Affairs Department, delivered a paper on district councils' role in promoting community cooperation and coordinating their efforts with police agencies to solve social challenges.

In his presentation, Hamad Abdul Wahab Al Qawadi, Member of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, lauded the significance of national and advisory councils in representing community members' perspectives, as well as the role of citizens in aiding the police in carrying out their security duty.
