Sharjah 24: Within the activities of the holy month of Ramadan, Mleiha Ramadan Forum concluded the series of women’s events, organised within the activities of the forum and which were held for its second year.

Women's activities were organised at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, in Mleiha parks, in the Emirate of Sharjah, and included five parks: Al Rawdah Al Gharbiyya Park, Hamda Park, Khaydir Park, Khudaira Park, and Al Ruwaidah Park.

Photography competitions, heritage competitions, cooking competitions, women's competitions, sports competitions and creative workshops were implemented in all parks and organised by the Women's Committee affiliated with the Cultural Committee at the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club.

The total number of Ramadan women’s events and activities at the forum strengthened the role of the Mleiha Club as a live platform that contributes to achieving those desired goals and objectives under the umbrella of Sharjah Sports Council, by organising a variety of events and programmes that meet the needs and aspirations of the people of the Mleiha region, during the holy month of Ramadan.

The events come within the framework of efforts made to enhance community communication and enhance the spirit of participation and interaction among members of society. The events also constitute a translation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and a constant endeavour to enhance communication and positive interaction between Mleiha Sports Club and the people and families of Mleiha, with the aim of building bridges of communication and enhancing social cohesion and sportsmanship.

The club’s management turned to its partners in success, including Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment, the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, Municipality of Mleiha, Sharjah Police General Command, Islamic Affairs Department, Holy Quran Academy and Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, stressing the importance of enhancing communication and cohesion in society, and the success of cooperation to organise the Mleiha Ramadan Forum.
