Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, said status quo around the world constantly requires upgrading mechanisms for the global provision of energy sources.

He made this statement while receiving heads of delegations participating in the Fujairah Bunkering and Fuel Oil Forum (FUJCON) 2023.

During the meeting, Sheikh Hamad stressed that the emirate’s hosting of the event highlights the UAE’s prominent stature in global oil markets and Fujairah’s keenness to enhance its position as a leading fuel oil provider.

He was also briefed about new innovative ideas and contributions showcased at the forum, which will help achieve progress and create commercial opportunities to advance the maritime transport industry.

Sheikh Hamad welcomed the event's participants and wished them a good stay in the emirate.

The participating delegations then thanked Sheikh Hamad for his warm welcome and support for the forum.

The meeting was attended by Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Emiri Court of Fujairah, and several senior officials.
