SSDSC’s 1st batch of 22 players obtain int'l black belt

Sharjah 24: The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club (SSDSC), Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Owais, handed over international certificates and black belts to 22 male and female Taekwondo players, after they were accredited by the International Taekwondo Academy.
This came during a ceremony held in the club’s branch in Sharjah. 

The members of the Board of Directors, Obaid Al Asm Al Suwaidi, Tariq Juma Al Suwaidi, Ali Obaid Al Hamoudi, Khalid Ibrahim Al Nakhi, and the Club’s Executive Director, Eng. Hanadi Khalifa Al Kabouri, attended the event.

In this context, Tareq Jumaa Al Suwaidi, Member of the Club’s Board of Directors, praised the qualitative shift experienced by the sport of Taekwondo in the club.

He added that the 22 male and female players obtaining international black belts as one of the club’s most important gains in Taekwondo, especially since it is the first black belt promotion batch in the club since its establishment in the year 2016.

He highlighted that this will give the players motivation to continue their pursuit of achieving more in the future.
