Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), represented by the Sharjah Training and Development Center, has concluded the Traffic Examiner training programme in coordination with the Sharjah Police.

The training programme, which lasted for five days, was part of the SCCI's keenness to expand its strategic partnership and optimize the center’s capabilities in training employees of government departments and private establishments, with the aim of improving the staff capabilities  and establishing a culture of innovation and creativity in workplaces.

The programme, which was attended by a number of Sharjah Police officers and came in partnership with Al Tayer Motors, included a set of lectures and field workshops aimed at developing the skills of the participants in occupational safety, accidents recognition mechanism, the methods for examining and registering vehicles and heavy machinery, how to export all types of vehicles, and the latest technologies used in maintenance and repairing vehicle damages.

At the end of the programme, Maryam Saif Al Shamsi, SCCI's Assistant Director-General for the Support Services Sector, accompanied by Mohammed Shams El Din of Al Tayer Motors, and in the presence of Abdulaziz Al Suwaidi, Director of SCCI's Human Resources Department, and Amal Abdullah Al Ali, Director of Sharjah Training and Development Center, gave the certificates of completion to the participants from the Sharjah Police, who praised the training programme and its topics as to improving their performance. They also highly appreciated the efforts of the Chamber and the Center in providing many courses and workshops that would enhance their skills and competencies.

Al Shamsi indicated that the training programme reflected the SCCI's pioneering efforts towards developing the human resources in government departments and authorities as well as in the private sector through the Sharjah Training and Development Center by developing programmes and training courses that suit the nature of organisations across all sectors, meet the needs of the labor market and reinforce the partnership between the SCCI and its public and private partners.

Abdulaziz Al-Suwaidi spotlighted the importance of the Traffic Examiner programme as to its information, instructions, academic lectures and field training workshops that were prepared by experts and specialists to satisfy the needs of the trainees and ameliorate their competencies and capabilities to use the cutting-edge technologies and apply the best international practices as concerns vehicle inspection.
