Sharjah 24: The Emirate of Sharjah Thursday saw the launch of the latest edition of Sharjah Shopping Promotions campaign that is organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) in all of the emirate's cities and regions and will continue until January 29, 2023 with huge promotional campaigns.

Over 46 days, the event will boast a wide range of promotions at the best shopping centers, tourist attractions and family entertainment destinations in the Emirate of Sharjah. Moreover, there will be a variety of marketing activities in cooperation with the SCCI's Commercial Shopping Centers Sector Working Group and in coordination with a number of departments and government agencies in the Emirate.

Malls, markets, and retail stores will be competing to offer discounts of up to 75% on various types of products and the most renowned brands, in addition to offering a wide range of valuable prizes and gifts for shoppers.

The campaign organising committee has allocated a website and a smart application with a database of shoppers that retailers can benefit from to determine the scope of their marketing campaigns, in addition to receiving notes and suggestions with the aim of permanently developing the Promotions. There is also a news platform to learn about the latest events and activities as well as the names of winners.

Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al-Awadi, SCCI's Director-General, said, “During the Christmas and New Year holiday, the world's eyes turn to the UAE, as the country tops the list of global tourist destinations thanks to its diverse tourist and entertainment destinations as well as its huge shopping and entertainment centers. So, this year we are keen to launch an exceptional edition of Sharjah Shopping Promotions campaign that goes in line with the aforesaid and enhances Sharjah's position as a preferred destination for citizens, residents and visitors from all over the world by offering a wide range of exclusive offers and attractive entertainment events”.

Abdulaziz Shattaf, SCCI's Assistant General Manager for the Communication and Business Sector, confirmed that Sharjah Shopping Promotions is one of the most important events and festivals on the retail trade sector's agenda and the related sectors in Sharjah. He stressed that the campaign constitutes an ideal opportunity for the malls, shops and hotels to launch promotions with prizes to attract shoppers and visitors to the emirate.

Sharjah Shopping Promotions 2022 will reward shoppers with prize packages from the participating shopping centers, and there will be raffles on purchases and big discounts on products like clothes, perfumes, electronics, home appliances, kitchenware, trips and journeys equipment, and much more. Shopping vouchers along with raffles on valuable prizes and many other surprises await shoppers.
