Sharjah 24: The Board of Directors of the Sharjah Charity International (SCI), headed by Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of its Board of Directors, held its periodic meeting at its headquarters in Samnan, and discussed a number of files on the table, related to the general work of the Charity, internally and externally.
At the onset of the meeting, the attendees thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his continuous support and sponsorship of the charitable work in the emirate, and his interminable humanitarian contributions throughout the year, which had a great impact on advancing the charitable work process in the emirate. The meeting also thanked Abdul Rahim Mohammed Al Zarouni, the main supporter of mass wedding projects inside and outside the country.

The meeting approved the minutes of the previous meeting, after which it discussed a number of topics on the agenda of the current meeting, where the attendees exchanged conversations about the Charity’s projects and its work during the 2023, which is just around the corner.

The Council approved raising the volume of internal initiatives to match the number of beneficiaries, and keep pace with the steady increase in the number of aid requests that are submitted to the Charity, stressing the need to raise the level of coordination with the SCI’s regional offices on remote geographical locations that has not been reached by the Charity.

Other charity-related issues were also addressed during the meeting.
