Sharjah24: The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority and Sharjah Media City "Shams", with two stunning pavilions, participated in the activities of the first edition of the Global Media Congress, held in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of “Shams”, stated in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24" that "Shams" is participating in the Congress with a distinctive pavilion, stressing that the event constitutes a unique opportunity to meet with other institutions in the media industry and to review Sham’s achievements and future plans.

Al Midfa stressed the importance of participating in the Congress, meeting with media experts, and holding specialised courses, especially for companies licensed in "Shams" and providing them with the latest technological developments in media.

Salem Al Ghaithi, Director of Sharjah TV, indicated that the participation of the SBA in the GMC comes through a pavilion that includes various departments of the authority, pointing to holding meetings and partnerships with all participating international media institutions.

Both Al Midfa and Al Ghaithi expressed their gratitude and appreciation to WAM for the amazing job in organising the event, wishing success for all its activities.
