Sharjah24 – Reuters: One of the stars of Dodge's North American International Auto Show lineup is its Charger Daytona SRT EV, a vehicle being billed as the world's first all-electric muscle car.
“It’s got a very powerful system drivetrain in it, but it’s also fully electric," said Ralph Gilles, chief design officer at Stellantis, Dodge's parent company. "So, it’s also at the beginning of a whole new discussion about what performance looks like.”

The two-door coupe features a four-seat interior, multi-speed transmission, 16-inch digital gauge cluster, and an addition called the r-wing.

"It's (r-wing) actually a pass-through, you can put your hands through the grille," said Gilles. "It’s meant to manage aerodynamics.”

Dodge wasn't the only automaker making waves with concept cars at the Motor City's auto show.

Lincoln also brought out a pair of visitors from the future in their Lincoln Model L-100 and Star Concept SUV.

Both vehicles boast a see-through front, wraparound seating, and reclined lounge posture.

The Model L-100 even features an all-digital floorboard designers say is meant to help put passengers in a positive state of mind.
