Sharjah 24: The Committee on Legislative and Legal Affairs, Appeals, Suggestions and Complaints in Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) expressed the legal view on a law regulating Sharjah Education Academy referred by the Media and Youth Committee.

The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Shaheen Ishaq Al Mazmi, Chairman of the Committee, and attended by His Excellency Abdullah Murad Mirza, the Committee’s Rapporteur, His Excellency Khalifa Muhammad Bughanim, His Excellency Muhammad Ali Jaber Al Hammadi, His Excellency Muhammad Saleh Al Ali, His Excellency Ali Saeed Ali Al Naqbi and His Excellency Dr. Ismail Kamel Al Buraimi, in addition to the presence of His Excellency Dr. Hamid Jassim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Education, Culture, Media and Youth Affairs Committee, Yusuf Hassan Al Ali, Legal Adviser to the Council, and Abdul Aziz bin Khadim, Deputy Director of the Legal Affairs Department.

The committee took into consideration the different articles in the draft law regulating the Academy’s work, and discussed the draft law to enable the Academy to achieve goals by exercising its competencies in developing education policies, training educational staff, and working on the efficiency of educational outputs.
