Sharjah24: The General Secretariat of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) received a delegation from General Secretariat of Sharjah Media Council (SMC) , in order to reinforce the efforts to develop institutional performance , and exchange expertise between two councils.

His Excellency Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Secretary-General of SCC received the delegation on Thursday at the headquarters of SCC, accompanied by the directors of the departments and those concerned with media affairs in the council. The delegation of Sharjah Media Council included His Excellency Hassan Yaqoub Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of SMC and his assistant directors departments and specialists.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, praised the excellence of Sharjah media policy, which proceeds according to the visions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to support various sectors in order to attain the stability of the society. 

He affirmed the council's general secretariat's keenness to consolidate relations with the Sharjah Media Council and work on exchanging experiences to achieve integration, partnership and exchange of technical expertise in all field. 

In turn, His Excellency Hassan Yaqoub Al-Mansoori, conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of Sharjah Media Council to the Secretary-General and the council’s cadres, appreciating the efforts of the General Secretariat of SCC and its rich experience that calls for integration with it.

He pointed out to the keenness of the General Secretariat of Sharjah Media Council in developing cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Consultative Council and to review the best practices of the General Secretariat of the Council.

During the meeting , Aspects of joint cooperation in various fields and ways of developing and strengthening them to serve the public interest were reviewed, and the General Secretariat of the Consultative Council in preparing for the sessions and codifying the available minutes and technical programmes.

Then the delegation of the General Secretariat of the Sharjah Media Council toured all the departments and sections of the Consultative Council and listened to a detailed explanation of the work mechanisms, reviewing  various modern technologies and the optimal employment of innovation within the work environments to support the policies of the council.
