Sharjah 24: Participating in the 40th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, at the Sharjah Expo Centre, Al Qasimi's Publications will present the latest research, scientific and historical compilations of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, which are based on daily events written in prestigious Arab studies, books and researches.

"Who is the Holi" is one of the most important publications, in which the author presents a documentary account of “Al-Hol tribes” scattered in Iraq and the Arabian peninsula. "Papal Decree... of the Pope Urban VIII... Pope of the Catholic Church", dated 1624 in two editions, Arabic and English. “The Friendship and Trade Agreement between Sultan Barghash bin Said, Sultan of Zanzibar and the King of Portugal.. 1879“.

Al Qasimi’s Publications also present a distinguished selection of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi’s books, which come within a wide cultural series, especially since this year saw the publication of translated editions of His Highness’ well-known plays in different languages, in addition to the book “Narrative of the Self”, which is a revised version, and the book “Qala’id Al-Juman in Sultan’s Achievements” by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi and other publications.

Al Qasimi’s Publications emphasised the importance of translation that reflects the different life experiences of human beings, so the publishing house presented Dr. Sultan plays in Spanish. Prestigious universities and research centres received Dr. Sultan’s publications and asked for His Highness plays’ translations, especially since some capitals saw theatrical performances of His Highness’ plays, perhaps the most prominent of which is the play “Al Nimrod”.

To complement its cultural and knowledge-based approach, Al Qasimi Publications launched the English translation of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi’s theatrical works, to join the giant encyclopedia started with the translation of His Highness’s first theatrical works “The Return of Hulagu”, which is rich in knowledge and high-end drama that draws from Arab history, and Islamic values.

Al Qasimi's Publications also issued, to local, Arab and international readers, a set of plays written by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, translated into Russian, and a collection of theatrical works written by His Highness, including eleven plays written from 1998-2018, translated into French by Arab and European specialists whereas the French language is the language of theater, cinema, visual arts, architecture and the language of global ideals.
