Sharjah24: Al Qasimi Publications (AQP) has released a collection of plays written by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, translated into the ancient Russian language. The Russian language belongs to the group of East Slavic languages, which includes Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian.

Al Qasimi Publications has issued theatrical works of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in many languages, contributing in building bridges of international cultural exchanges. 

Al Qasimi Publications has highlighted the significance of such works, especially when the plays of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah are mixed with the Russian language and are read by pioneers in Moscow or neighboring countries, aiming in promoting the civilizational integration between countries.

The keenness of Al Qasimi Publications to translate and publish the theatrical works of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah into the Russian language, as it is one of the most important languages in the world, especially in the continents of Asia and Europe, enhances the mutual interest in learning the other's language between the two culture. 

This vital and major project of "Al Qasimi Publications" comes in line with several requests from diffreent universities and research houses requesting to provide them with translations of the theatrical works of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah; the most prominent of them is the play “Nimrod”, which was shown at the Moscow Book Fair in 2019 and won great admiration, shedding light on the need to translate the works of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah into the Russian language.
