Sharjah 24: Al Hirah Literary Council in the Department of Culture witnessed, on Wednesday evening, a session of various Nabatean poetry readings by poets Saif bin Hamad Al Shamsi and Abdullah bin Ayed Al Shamri and presented by Ali Abdul Razzaq Al Tamimi, in the presence of Butti Al Mazloum, director of the council, and an audience of Nabati poetry lovers.

The event was broadcasted through social media and the department's website.

Al Tamimi welcomed the attendees, and said, "Just as the Al Hirah Literary Council has become a home for culture and literature, it has also become a home for Nabatean poets, thanks to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah."

The two participating poets reading a number of their poems, in an event that received great feedback from the attendees. 

At the end of the event, Butti Al Mazloum honoured the poets Saif Al Shamsi and Abdullah Al Shamri, and the presenter Ali Al Tamimi by giving them honorary certificates in appreciation of their active participation in the poetry event.
