Al Junaid: SLSDA surveys Sharjah within Heat Exhaustion Campaign

Sharjah 24: Sultan Issa Al Junaid, Deputy Head of the Heat Exhaustion Campaign Team at the Sharjah Labour Standards Development Authority (SLSDA), confirmed that the campaign team surveyed all industrial, commercial and residential areas in the city of Sharjah, and the Central and Eastern Regions to ensure the commitment of employers not to employ workers at noon.
The Deputy Head of the Heat Exhaustion Campaign Team at SLSDA thanked the Government of Sharjah and its wise leadership, which ensured a decent life for the worker and for their concern for the safety of workers and the preservation of their rights.

Al Junaid added, in exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24”, that the campaign has been launched since July 8, and the work is still in progress until the end of the campaign on September 15.

He stressed that the team has completed 113 working hours so far, and the remaining 53 working hours are ongoing, according to the work plan of SLSDA. 

Concluding his statement, he thanked the owners of the companies for their commitment to the laws issued by the competent authorities in the UAE.
