Sharjah 24: His Excellency Salem Yousef Al Qaseer, Chairman of Sharjah Labour Standards Development Authority (SLSDA), received, on Monday, the Health Affairs, Labour and Social Affairs Committee of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), headed by Dr. Abdullah Musa Al Balushi, Chair of the Committee.

The two sides discussed a number of basic axes, on top of which are initiatives and policies of SLSDA and its future plan and vision, in order to enhance the services it provides to the labour market. 

The Chairman of SLSDA welcomed SCC’s delegation, stressing the importance of such meetings. 

His Excellency pointed out, during the meeting, that there was an exchange of views to define SLSDA's objectives, initiatives, projects and achievements, and the services it provides to the work sector. 

For his part, Dr. Abdullah Musa Al Balushi expressed happiness with such meeting, stating that the meeting was an opportunity to learn about the work of SLSDA, its initiatives and plans, and its future aspirations. 

It is noteworthy to mention that the meeting comes within the framework of the support provided by the Sharjah government, represented by SCC, to government departments and institutions, in order to fully achieve their goals and tasks, improve the level of service provision to society and help in achieving the aspirations of the Sharjah government.
