Sharjah 24: Within Sharjah Sports Council’s (SSC) efforts to develop and employ media skills in the sports field, SSC organised a workshop entitled " Quality of Sports Photography" at Sharjah Cultural and Chess Club.

The training workshop targeted media professionals involved with Sharjah sports clubs, specialised clubs and football companies. The workshop was attended by Engineer Adel Saleh Al Hammadi, Member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Media and Digital Transformation Committee, who praised the continuous support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his interest in visual, print and audio media in various fields.

Al Hammadi pointed that in line with the directives of His Highness, Sharjah Sports Council, headed by Issa Hilal Al Hazami, pays consistent attention and care to media whereas it plays an essential role in the promotion and development of sports.

Eng. Adel Al Hammadi stressed the importance and impact of sports on encouraging members of society to practice various sports. He also stressed the importance of the media archives and the importance of cooperation in covering sports events hosted by the Emirate of Sharjah.

Eng. Adel Al Hammadi concluded extending thanks and appreciation to all the attendees and stressing the need to exchange experiences among photographers, and the importance of employing tourism and beauty of nature while shooting sporting events, which reflects the beauty of the scene, such as sunrise and sunset from land and sea, highlighting the coexistence of birds and local wild animals with nature and the UAE deserts.
