Sharjah 24: The Documents House in the Emirate of Sharjah in Sharjah recently examined the document management system utilised by the Sharjah Public Works Department, focusing on its implementation across all administrative units. This review aimed to ensure adherence to a plan for document retention periods and their ultimate disposition. The Documentation and Archives Department of the Documents House offered extensive assistance and technical support throughout the implementation process within the SPWD.

This collaboration underscores the mutual commitment of both entities to enhance their cooperation and bolster documentation systems. Mira Ahmed, Head of the Archives Department, commended the close partnership with the Documents House, highlighting the Department's dedication to overall performance improvement, excellence, and alignment with best practices, particularly in archiving.
