SGWCA enriches Gulf with literary talents

Sharjah24: During the ceremony honoring the winners of the Sharjah Gulf Women Creativity Award (SGWCA), Aisha Othman, spokesperson for the Cultural and Media Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, highlighted the significance of the award's sixth edition, stressing that the event, being held Tuesday at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre, showcased the remarkable contributions of 61 participants from 6 Gulf countries, ultimately benefiting the Arabian Gulf region.
Speaking exclusively to "Sharjah 24", Othman highlighted the significance of the award as proof that the participants' writing skills are now in competition, successfully fulfilling the award's primary objective of fostering high-quality competition among Gulf countries. Moreover, the Award aims to contribute to the literary, cultural, and research advancements that benefit the Arabian Gulf region.

In addition, Othman highlighted that the award offers Gulf women a chance to excel in their work and provides them with platforms to display their literary creativity.
