Sharjah 24: The Emirates Cycling Team showcased exceptional performance at the Giro race in Italy, securing two of the top three positions in the third stage. Diego Olisi and Adam Yates represented the team with distinction.

Alexey Lutsenko from the Astana Team clinched first place, while Diego Olisi finished second and Adam Yates secured third. Adam Yates also attained second place in the general classification, trailing Lutsenko by only 14 seconds as the race approached its conclusion, spanning from Montorio Al Fumano to L'Aquila (covering 173 km).

UAE Team rider Yates returned to racing for the first time after suffering an accident last February at the UAE Tour in which he suffered a concussion.
