Sharjah24: With the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, many events have been launched in Sharjah and its cities that ignite Ramadan's nights, as one of these events is Al Subaihiya Ramadan Championship, which was launched in Khorfakkan with the participation of 8 teams . Sharjah 24 news website offered a real window to shed light on the event by interviewing Khamis Mohammed Al Naqbi, head of the organizing committee of the Al Subaihiya Ramadan Football Championship, who spared no efforts in shedding light on the event.

Under the slogan "Love for Sultan Unites Us," Al Subaihiya Ramadan Football Championship kicked off on Friday, with the presence of officials, club representatives, and government institutions in the city of Khorfakkan. The event was attended by dignitaries, residents of the area, and neighboring regions.

The opening of the championship, held at Al Zubara Stadium, was attended by Dr. Rashid Khamees Al Naqbi, the head of the Municipal Council of Khorfakkan, Colonel Dr. Ali Al Hammoudi, the director of the Eastern Region Police Department, Abdullah Khalfan Al Naqbi, the governor of Al Nahwa region, as well as a gathering of officials, athletes, and residents.

Khamis Mohammed Al Naqbi, the head of the organizing committee of the Al Subaihiya Ramadan Football Championship, affirmed that the championship strengthens the unity of the community as a way to spend special Ramadan moments after prayers. He added that the eighth edition of the championship is sponsored by the Sharjah Sports Council in cooperation with Khorfakkan Sports and Cultural Club, with support from various individuals and families. The championship includes the participation of 8 teams from the youth and legends categories, and the competitions will continue until March 30th.
