Sharjah24: The Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club inaugurated the "Ramadan Village" on Thursday to commemorate the holy month of Ramadan. The event saw the presence of Humaid Al Shamsi, the club's chairman, Mubarak Al Shamsi, the director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, club members, and local residents.

Humaid Al Shamsi highlighted that the Ramadan Village, organised by the club's cultural and community committee, aims to engage Al Hamriyah residents with religious, cultural, and sporting activities throughout Ramadan.

He commended the team responsible for the Ramadan Village, expressing satisfaction that it exemplifies the community spirit unique to the Al Hamriyah area.

Mubarak Al Shamsi praised the opening of the Ramadan Village, encouraging residents from Al Hamriyah and neighbouring areas to participate in its diverse activities.

Visitors on the opening day expressed delight and approval of Al Hamriyah Club's innovative initiative, viewing it as a genuine recreational outlet offering various activities and competitions.

Additionally, the draw for the sixth edition of the Ramadan Football Championship of Al Hamriyah was held during the opening ceremony, set to commence in the next few days.
