Sharjah24: Sheikh Dr. Salem Al Doubi, Head of the Preaching Department at the Sharjah Islamic Affairs (SIAD) Department, has announced the launch of a "Virtual Tour of Sharjah Mosque" using metaverse technology or virtual reality (VR) glasses to introduce visitors to the mosque's facilities and allow them to explore its different sections.

Al-Doubi stated in his remarks to "Sharjah 24" that the GITEX Global Exhibition 2023 is a significant global event where departments, institutions, and companies showcase the latest advancements in modern technology.

He expressed his gratitude to the organisers of the exhibition and the Sharjah government pavilion for their commendable efforts in highlighting the most prominent services available in local departments.
