Sharjah 24: The Olympic national team will play, on Wednesday, in the qualifying matches for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup Finals “Qatar 2024”, against the Chinese national team in the first round of the seventh group.

At 3:35 pm (UAE time), on Wednesday, the national Olympic football team will start the qualifying rounds for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup Finals “Qatar 2024” facing the Chinese team, at Suoyuwan Stadium, in Dalian, in the first round of the seventh group. 

Spanish coach Denis Silva said that a strong confrontation awaits the team, on Wednesday, against the Chinese national team, and the match will be difficult for both teams, especially since it is the opening of the Asian qualifiers.

Denis Silva added that the UAE players are ready for the match, and he has great confidence in them.

On the other hand, the technical meeting for the seventh Group for the qualifiers for the AFC U-23 Championship was held, on Tuesday, and it was attended by Jamal Buhendi, the team’s manager, Salem Al Yaqoubi, team’s administrative officer, along with AFC officials and representatives of the group’s teams.
