Sharjah 24: Engineer Tariq Mohammed Ahmed of the Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority, announced the launch of the campaign to prevent the risks of drowning in swimming pools in its 2nd edition.

This comes in cooperation with the Sharjah Sports Council, to ensure the safety and security of swimming pools in clubs and youth and child centres in the regions and cities of the Emirate.

He indicated to "Sharjah 24" that a number of inspection visits were organised to determine the security of the swimming pools, and to ensure that they meet the highest safety requirements, in order to reach a society free of risks.
