Sharjah24: His Excellency Major General Saif Al-Zari Al-Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police witnessed Thursday morning the first Youth Forum under the slogan "Sustainable Skills", which was held in the Sustainability Hall of the Sharjah Police General Headquarters, in the presence of Colonel Tariq Al Midfa, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Sharjah Police, and a number of Sharjah Police employees.

The Forum commenced with a youth session moderated by Mr. Ahmed Aqil Lootah, in which Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Marzouqi spoke about environmental sustainability and climate change, and Ms. Munira Al Suwaidi addressed the importance of the role of youth in achieving the sustainable development goals.

Following the introduction of the new session of the Sharjah Police Youth Council, Ms. Fatima Issa Al Jasmi from the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources presented a presentation on the platform for the future of government talents.

The forum’s activities concluded with the youth’s meeting with Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, in an inspiring speech, in which he emphasised that youth are the pillar of the future and the strength of the present, praising their abilities to achieve outstanding achievements that contribute to promote the Emirati society’s progress, reflecting the visions of the wise leadership.

At the end of the forum, Colonel Tariq Al Midfa, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Sharjah Police, honoured the participants in recognition of their positive efforts in the success of this forum.
