Sharjah 24: Waheeda Abdulaziz, Chairperson of the Friends of Arthritis Patients (FOAP), announced the winning schools at the level of Sharjah and the Central and Eastern Regions, during the honouring ceremony held Wednesday evening at the Sharjah Ladies Club.

The Jury of the Arthritis Friendly Schools Award in its first session was organised by the Friends of Arthritis Patients of the Health Promotion Department of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah.

Chairperson of FOAP said the aim of the award is to reach the largest segment of society, specifically school students at the level of the cities of the Emirate of Sharjah.

Wahida Abdulaziz added to “Sharjah 24”, “The award was launched in November and more than 28 public and private schools participated in it. The award was launched in cooperation with the Emirates School Education Foundation and the Sharjah Private Education Authority.”
