Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, approved the appointment of 130 engineers and other 40 in administrative positions in the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) from Emirati recruits, starting in 2023.

This directive was made public during the "Direct Line" programme, hosted by Mohamed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting and Television Authority.
