Sharjah24: The Municipal Council of Khorfakkan held its 48th general meeting at the Hayawa Suburb Council headquarters, headed by Dr. Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Council.

The council honours media and news networks on social media for their influential role in covering Khorfakkan's celebrations of the 51st National Day.

Al Naqbi told "Sharjah 24" that the media plays a prominent role in promoting various events in the city, and highlighting its gains and achievements, especially in tourism.

He indicated that the meeting discussed and evaluated the pros and cons of the National Day celebration, witnessed by more than 5,000 city visitors.
