Sharjah 24: Within the activities of the World Animal Day, the Arabia’s Wildlife Centre, affiliated to the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPPA), organised an event, which included educational workshops and animal shows, with the participation of a number of local departments and institutions.

Amal Mohammed, Senior Guide at the Arabia’s Wildlife Centre, stated that the centre organised the World Animal Day event, which is held annually, and included educational workshops for school children and visitors.

She added in statements to "Sharjah 24" that the event highlighted the importance of animal care.
