Sharjah24: Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Deputy Director of the Training Department at the Academy of Police Sciences, chaired Monday morning, in the leadership hall at the Sharjah Police Club, the meeting of the Sports Excellence Award team, in the presence of Major Ahmed Mubarak Al Junaibi, Head of the Sports and Social Activities Department, and a number of members of the Sports Excellence Award team.

This meeting came with the aim of reviewing the most important developments in the sports field, searching for the best sports practices and benefiting from the experiences that have been applied.

The team discussed a number of sports initiatives that were organised recently, and a number of strategic policies developed in the sports field, which included some development ideas, best practices and modern experiences that were applied at the level of sports activity.

The meeting also reviewed the features of the general plan for sports motivation methods and mechanisms, which will include identifying and nurturing talented athletes, and creating pioneering sports opportunities that serve the sports system and its development.
