Sharjah24: The General Command of Sharjah Police, represented by the Community Police Department, in cooperation with the Traffic and Patrols Department, organised an awareness campaign targeting 2,600 Talabat drivers, which will continue until the second half of this year 2022 AD, as part of its plans to spread security and community awareness.

The campaign included a number of awareness lectures delivered by a number of specialists in the leadership, including introducing drivers to the concept of security and its role in preventing crime and combating some negative phenomena, speed of communication with the security services, and other security topics aimed at enhancing security and safety in Sharjah.

The lectures also included a definition of the application of a guard, its most important features and the role it plays in enhancing community security and safety and saving time and effort for dealers keen to report negative behaviors, while maintaining the confidentiality of data and whistleblower information.

Lt. Col. Ahmed Al Marri, Director of the Community Police Department at the Sharjah Police General Headquarters, stressed that the community's communication with the police and reporting crimes and negative phenomena is a civilized feature that the public gives to the police and raises the sense of security responsibility that is reflected in the protection of lives and property in the community.
